3rd Person Perspective

With my current code I have a ship model and the camera is located behind it in a 3rd person perspective. However I am having trouble keeping the camera in the same position behind the ship. nShipNode->yaw(rotX); nShipNode->pitch(rotY); nShipNode->translate(sVec); mCamera->yaw(rotX); mCamera->pitch(rotY); mCamera->moveRelative(cVec); This implementation causes the Camera to move independently of the model. Does anyone know of a method to fix the position behind the ship as the ship moves? Just a note the Camera is looking at the origin (0,0,0).
