glutGet(GLUT_WINDOW_WIDTH) ->gl?

what is the equivalent for glutGet(GLUT_WINDOW_WIDTH) if i don''t use glut? thank siddim

BOOL GetWindowRect(
HWND, // handle to window
LPRECT // Pointer to a RECT structure that receives the screen coordinates of the upper-left and lower-right corners of the window.

The GetWindowRect function retrieves the dimensions of the bounding rectangle of the specified window. The dimensions are given in screen coordinates that are relative to the upper-left corner of the screen.

You can then access the left and right members of the RECT struct and figure out the width of your window.
