D3DXMesh question.

Microsoft documention says that the flag D3DXMESH_32BIT, which is suppose to let D3DXMesh know that you want it to have 32 bit indices, isn''t supported yet. Does anyone know if that means that D3DXMesh wont ever have 32 bit indices? or does this just mean that you can''t force its indices to be 32 bits?? Just a minor detail i know, but still kinda curious
