I have an ascii file as big as 25MB huge consisting of x,y,z coordinates(that of a rough terrain) and one single texture to be wrapped over these coordinates just as a blanket. I dont even need the coordinates to be displayed as points. I am wondering if there is any way to do it other than this: glTexCoord2f(*,*); glVertex3f(*, *, *); I am not even sure if the above works. Please guide me if I am going in a wrong direction. thanks, vijay.

I''d break it up into chucks so you can cull the data back so that you are only drawing what you need to and then use VAR to throw the right chunks at the screen
