Hi! I''m writing a little app and here''s some code(C++) to show a "Save As" dialog: //Build a filter CString Filter = "BMP(*.bmp)|*.bmp|JPEG(*.jpg)|*.jpg||"; //Create the dialog CFileDialog SaveAsDialog(FALSE, NULL, NULL, OFN_HIDEREADONLY | OFN_OVERWRITEPROMPT, Filter); //Show the dialog and save the file if (SaveAsDialog.DoModal() == IDOK) SaveFile(SaveAsDialog.GetPathName()); The only problem is that the file extension that the user chooses(the filter) isn''t added to the filename. For example, if I type in the name "Weird image" and choose BMP as the filetype the name of the file becomes just "Weird image" and not "Weird image.bmp" which is what I want. How do I accomplish this? Thanks in advance William D.
