bullet Collision

Anyone know of a good way any doing collision detection for bullets. I.E. - don''t tell me the only way is going through all the faces in your wolrd and test for CD... --------------- Gaming is Life ---------------

Google/search for ''spatial partitioning data structures'', things like quad/oct tree, bsp tree etc. And if you need more help then you''ll have to give more details. 2d? 3d? level geometry/layout? approx numbers of moving/static objects?
