I just bought Microsoft Visual Studio 6, but when I finish installin git the wizard tells me that the installation failed and that I should re-install everything again, I do so but the sme happens. The problems are a lot, like that no program group is created, and some programs like the linkers are not installed, I have erased everything, cleaned the registry etc, but I continue with the same problem.. If you''re using any of the NT based Windows, you need to be administrator for it to install correctly.

If a product ain''t working, I usually talk to its manufacturer first. MS have a comprehensive support site at http://support.microsoft.com/

Article Q192392 looks like a good starting point. If that fails, do a search on the topic as there are a number of articles to be found if you search for "install Windows ME" (don''t forget to pick "Visual Studio" from the dropdown list above the search box first.)
