vertex array Exts questions.

1. does GL_EXT_draw_range_elements or GL_EXT_vertex_array do anything else other then what is included in standard OpenGL today? 2. GL_NV_vertex_array_range is faster then the others because it doesn''t need cpu do vertex passes correct? 3. What does GL_NV_vertex_array_range2 do, is it like a GlFlush(); for vertex arrays??

1/ A is part of opengl1.2 (i believe) B is part of opengl1.1
2 + 3/ check the extension spec from the extension registry @ www.opengl.org
