The specs for the engine that I have been told to design is one where the player can move seamlessly from one section of the world to the next. The world data (about the size of our world, no, really), is split up into sections, like counties etc... The problem for this is that I am using a BSP as my main VSD (quick and always works). The only problem I am faced with is how to shift between two BSPs smoothly. Now I heard that it was possible to perform CSG operations on a BSP (intersection, subtraction, etc...), but I am not very sure how to implement it. The BSP CSG is also required so that entire brushes can be subtracted\added to the world at run-time. Any suggestions?
