Because I have only one book on DX altogether(TOTWGPG), I am having to learn DirectX6.0. Will it be easier to make the change to 8.0 now, or after I learn 6.0? Gamma Games <-<-<-<-<- Me own site!

TOTWGPG doesn''t really get into Direct3D so all you really learn is DirectDraw, DirectSound, and DirectInput. It will be easier to learn DirectX 8 after you''ve learned DirectX 6 since the only differences really are the interfaces and maybe a few features.
