hello ! ok, here is the prob: i tried to create to panes, but none of them gets displayed. (i used the "Creating 3d tools with MFC" as a base) i cant find the problem; i did exactly everything like it was explained in the tutorial (as far as i can do, for setting up two panes, instead of 5) maybe you can find any problem in my code:
	if( !m_mainSplitter.CreateStatic( this, 1, 2 ) ) {
MessageBox("Error");
return FALSE;
}

CRect			cr;
GetClientRect(&cr);

if( !m_mainSplitter.CreateView(0, 0, RUNTIME_CLASS(CMapperView), CSize(INFOBAR_SIZE,cr.Height()), pContext) ) {

MessageBox("Error");
return FALSE;

}
if( !m_mainSplitter.CreateView(0, 1, RUNTIME_CLASS(CInfoBar), CSize(INFOBAR_SIZE,cr.Height()), pContext) ) {

MessageBox("Error");
return FALSE;

}

m_initSplitters = TRUE;

CMapperView is derived from CView and CInfoBar is derived from CFormView. could you find any error ? --- bye littletaz ---
