I''m working from Programming Role Playing Games with DirectX, by Jim Adams. I''ve made a simple Pong clone which is structured much like Jim''s Tower example. It uses the Ctexture class and blits 2D images via the cGraphics sprite interface. I''m now in the process of optimizing/improving the code and need help with one last thing, because I am trying to make it as robust as possible. Whenever I run a large application while my game is running the textures seem to be wiped from memory. I know that this can happen and that my application needs to be able to handle it. I''ve tried reloading the textures but it is not working, also the cFont class stops drawing anything. Does anyone using this code know how to ensure that the games resources are not lost? ---------------------------- I HATE COLLISION DETECTION!!
