I"m writing a program schedualer and need a function to kickoff schedualed programs. I''m going to use _exec but don''t know if that is the best function for this type of thing. Is there something better, I do need to use command line args as well. Jason Mickela ICQ : 873518 Excuse my speling. The V-Town Have-Nots

ShellExecute()
ShellExecuteEx()
system()

I''d go for one of the ShellExecute functions.

I''m assuming this is for Windows.

Don''t forget CreateProcess. That''s the only one that gives you control over the process after spawning.
