Implementing lightmapping in .x files

I just wonder if exist easy way for implementing lightmapping using .x format, or I have to do everything by myself (ie make new attributes and mark with them faces with lm. and set all when drawing subset - but this required additional file with info about which textures to use and how, and search faces by myself) If you are using lm. in .x file please tell how. Greetz Lemmy
