Does anyone know if it is at all possible to write your own export filter for something like 3D studio max or similar? Google seems to think not. It would just be cool to export character models from 3DSMAX into my own file format instead of writing a reader for someone else''s format. Just wondering. - CheeseMonger

Yes, that''s definately possible. The project I''m on is using an engine which has it''s own 3ds max 4 plug-in, so you can export things directly into the engine''s format.

How you do it, I don''t know. Google + discreet plug-ins has never worked well for me

aud.vze.com - The Audacious Engine <-- It''s not much, yet. But it''s mine... my own... my preciousssss...
