Hi! Regarding interrupts, ARM and GBA. What is the best way to dissable interrupts? Is it 1) or 2) below: 1. to set the ''dissable interrupts'' bit in CPSR to 1, or 2. to set IME to 0 And are there any differences between the first and the second alternative? or does they work in exactly the same way (i.e. they only dissables all interrupts and accomplish nothing else) ? Well, if 1) and 2) now have exactly the same effects, then why do we need both? Couldn''t the GBA-constructors for example have excluded IME (I guess CPSR can''t be excluded because it is a part of the ARM CPU)
