need some help !! "What part does SQL play in DBMS"

well this is quite simple DBMS stands for DataBase Management System. Which is the Database. so what part does SQL PLay with in the database. Well it does everything you would want it to make tables queries etc etc.

Just to clarify what the previous two folks said, SQL is a language. A DBMS is a system or a piece of software that actually manages/maintains the database - stores tables, handles searches, maintains realationships, etc. SQL is a scripting language you use to interact with the DBMS - eg to do searches, add/remove tables, insert data, etc.
