Hi! To show a mouse cursor I''m using the functions IDirect3DDevice8::ShowCursor IDirect3DDevice8::SetCursorPosition IDirect3DDevice8::SetCursorProperties which works pretty fine so far, only it doesn''t move Well, it does if I update the position manually (IDirect3DDevice8::SetCursorPosition) but isn''t there a way to have this done automatically? thx - pi256

no. d3d only draws the cursor where you tell it to, it doesn''t retrieve input data from your mouse. the latter is dinput''s job.
