So I have a single doc MFC app. I created a child dialog in the dialog editor and associated it with a class COptions. I also assigned CDialogBar m_Options;, and created it by calling Create() and associated it with the COptions dialog box. Now when this options bar is in the app, it is attached to the top or bottom of the screen by your choice (you can drag it). The only problem is that all buttons on the bar are grayed out, so I cant click on them, even after I create a function associated with them. (eg. whenclickedonThisButton, whenclickedonThatButton). And I, somehow need to get them to work because I want it to communicate with the view class.
