How do you save a windows bitmap to a file? I want to just make an hbm object, bitblt my primary surface onto it, and then save to a file. Is there a better way to do this? if not, how DO you save a bitmap to a file?

Hi

just as Spellbound said implemented an BMP saving function, then locked the Backbuffer, and directly wrote the Data from there to the Disk (Could be made Cleaner i think).
