MessageBox() Under Bitmap?

Recommended Posts

When I call the MessageBox() function, sometimes it draws the Dialog box under the bitmap which I have on the screen. It does this about %50 of the time. Does anybody know why its doing this, and how to prevent this? Help is appreciated. Thanks. This is how I initiate the code, and execute the function: HWND main_window_handle = NULL; // saves window handle main_window_handle = hwnd; MessageBox(main_window_handle,"test","test2",MB_OK); Edited by - Gf11speed on 3/30/00 4:08:04 PM

You need to call the FlipToGDISurface() function before you tell windows to draw anything to the screen. It will tell windows the current active surface is the one that we are blitting too. Your problem occurs due to the pageflipping I assume you are incorperating.
