D3DXCreateTextureFromFile

the 2nd argument takes a graphic format i.e. "street.bmp" how can I direct it to a folder in the current project path i.e. /images/street.bmp thanks in advance

just use D3DXCreateTextureFromFile(d3d_device,"Images/texture.tga",&texture);

you can use \ in your path strings, but you have to put two \ because the character \ is a special string character in C.

Images\\screen.bmp will also work.
