D3DXCreateTextureFromFile
the 2nd argument takes a graphic format i.e. "street.bmp" how can I direct it to a folder in the current project path i.e.
/images/street.bmp

Thanks had tried that previously but it didnt work because id got my \ instead of / in the file name

you can use \ in your path strings, but you have to put two \ because the character \ is a special string character in C.
Images\\screen.bmp will also work.
