OK, picture this. THe world is made up of convex objects with one main floor, falling off it, you''ll die. Now, does anyone know of good ways to tell your bots to run to the player, but if there''s something in the way, he must run around and not into it. I mean first off, it sounds easy, but I''m getting so bogged down at the momo\ent. Anyone please help --------------- Gaming is Life ---------------

You could use pre set waypoints. Then have the bots follow the waypoints to the one nearest the player. If the bot has a direct line with no obsticles between the waypoint and the user, then run at the user. Otherwise, move to another waypoint that does have a direct line.
