Open gl collision with walls

I’ve just written a small 3D engine in Opengl (You can move look up/down in s small room). But I have some trouble, I can move right through the walls. I and can’t figure out the code, because I don’t want to work with internal co-ordinates. Anyone there can help me out.

First of all you must calculate planes for you walls, planes are very easy to calculate and just do a little net searching if you don''t know how to calculate them. When you have your planes you can use bounding sphere collision detection, check out the portal series on www.flipcode.com for a good tutorial on collision detection.
