I don''t know how to solve my access error problem I''m trying to flip a bitmap but I''m using a structure that contains another structure... so when I want to memcpy i do this: //allocate the buffer... memcpy(buffer,bmp_holder->bmp_file.buffer,size); why is a access violation error given? Open the hushed casket...

It would really help if you list the code for the struct from which bmp_file was created.
