SDK Download help!

This is probably a common question, but I can''t find the answer. So I apoligise in advance.
I''m trying to get the DirectX SDK downloaded. But, as a dial up user with a 4 hour limit, downloading the 160mb file isn''t much of an option.
Is there any way to download a smaller file with just the bits you need? On the Microsoft site the Componentized downloads are bigger than downloading the whole thing, which makes no sense at all and doesn''t help.
I can''t even find where to order it on CD. Altho in Australian dollars its probably beyond my price range anyway.
Any suggestions??

Actually i believe gamedev.net has psted a smaller version somewhere.
And i also believe that the sdk cd is only a few american dollars for shipping.
You might even be ably to find a game programming book or some similar where there is a cd already inluded that has the sdk on it.
