Where can I get a tick counter in Linux? time() is no good as it only shows seconds. I want milliseconds. In fact a tutorial on time dependant aninmation would be really cool, but I can''t find any on nehe''s site. Thanks, David

Look up ''gettimeofday'' (in sys/time.h) or ''ftime'' (in sys/timeb.h). The first is not part of the POSIX standard (it is part of the BSD standard), but the second is.
