I have a 2 questions about DSound. In a game I am trying to write, I first load(at the beginning of application) sounds into buffers(seperate buffers). Normally if seperate buffers can be played simultaneously and this mixes them.(This is right, ain''t it?) Anyway, in the game if you shoot two enemy planes at the same time, since there is only one buffer for playing enemy plane explosion sound, there is only one explosion sound. Can anybody offer a soultion? Thanx in advance for any help and advice from gurus...

Use DuplicateSoundBuffer to create a second instance of the explosion sound, then play the original and the duplicate.
