Backup

Recommended Posts

Hello, After a near-death incident where I would have lost all source-code, I''m currently researching different software applications for backing up source-code. I''m essentially looking for software that will: - allow me to define a backup schedule (daily, weekly, etc) - perform incremental backups (when files change) - store the backup job on a CD-R disc that I can leave in my drive and forget about - potentially also upload the backup file to an external FTP server I suppose I''ll post findings here if anyone is interested, I''m also curious to know if anyone has references to inexpensive software that supports any (or preferably all) of the above. this may be extremly cheap and dumb, but every time i make something work, i just minus C++ and go to the folder and go add to zip file blah.zip. if i break it, i unzip the file overwriting everything that is broken. yay for cheapness
