movement jumps when i switch to windowed mode...

hello my applications animations go into hyper mode when i switch from fullscreen to windowed mode. im calculating the time between each frame (frameTime) and i also calculate the speed factor which is targetFPS/FPS. i multiply the frameTime with the speedfactor to smooth out my animations. and this works fine but when i make the switch for about a second all my animations go EXTREMELY fast...then get back to normal any word on this situation? thanks

During that second you switch you aren''t drawing anything, since your targetFPS is probably about 30 maybe even more you''ll get a speedfactor of about 30/1 which is 30, and you would probably want constant speedfactor of 1.0, i''m not sure though but it''s an idea. Actully I''m just guessing, I have no clue really, it sounded good though
