do they exist a series of rules that the programmers respect?

0) Read books
1) Write good-lookin'', well-organized code
2) Think before do
3) Use your skills for good purposes only
4) Most of the time you''re wrong, so respect what everyone else says (personal experience from my starting days)
5) Respect the community on the whole - they''re a powerful ally!

These are the first whings I can think of off-hand. There are no compiled lists of things programmers should follow - instead there is etiquette and that should come from your own head/heart.
