Finding the File Size

You can try this:


int nFileSize = 0;
ifstream in;
in.open("C:\\somedir\\somefile", ios::nocreate / ios::binary);
if(in.fail()){
in.close();
}
else{
in.seekg(0, ios::end);
nFileSize = in.tellg();
in.close();
}

You'll have to include fstream.h
The last slash in the in.open function is supposed to be a vertical bar (the 'OR' sign).
