3D Studio MAX -> poser

I have a low polygon character model that I''m importing into poser, in order to add a bone and IK system. My question is this, is there any way to create and name groups of polygons in 3DSmax, which would be preserved when I load the character object into Poser? thanks in advance, >>plectrum

thanks, i will. btw, TrueSpace rules, for stills at least. compare the stuff they have at the official 3d Studio MAX galleries, with the amazing art they have at the caligari website.
