How do i open the internet connetion dialog from within my program? I usually get it appearing if i open internet explorer or sign in to MSN. Do i just need to start up WinSock? Cheers, Steve Steve

Thanks for the quick reply, but unfortunately RAS doesn''t work with Windows98 (which is what i''m using). I tried it and it said it couldn''t find rasdlg.dll.

As far as I know Winsock will do this automatically for you. Im not sure exactly when it does it as I dont use Winsock much, but i every time I have written a winsock app it has opened that window for me.

Its ok, i've got it working:

if(WSAStartup(MAKEWORD(1,0),&theData))
return;

WSAAsyncGetHostByName(g_hWnd,WM_USER+1,"www.google.com",g_pTempBuff,MAXGETHOSTSTRUCT);
WSACleanup();
