d3dapp.cpp of the common file frame

Hello I felt this is more a C++ than DX In the DX8.1 SDK examples. in the BuildDeviceList function of the d3dapp.cpp file. I understand how he build the device list. I am trying to find where he transfer that information to the menu (File/Change Device/fullscreen). I mean which part of the common file frame is responsible for that. I do not seem to be able to find it in d3dapp.cpp,d3dutil.cpp,dxutil.cpp. I imagine there is some kind of a link between the array where he stores the valid modes and the resource file of the menue. Could any one help. Thanks

Check out CD3DApplication::SelectDeviceProc , I guess.
