Rotations
Hi, I have recently starting using OpenGL in my delphi applications and are currently working on a car physics engine.
thanks to nehe''s tutorials my life has been made considerable easier.
one problem that i am having is i have front wheels on my car
and when i move the car forward the wheels need to turn forward this is simple by rotating the wheel around the X axis
but when i turn the wheels around the Y axis to change the cars direction and then i move forward so my wheel is spinning around the Y axis then the X axis i get my wheels turning sideways.
should i just rotate the texture coordinates when moving the car forward to simulate the wheel turning?
pls help.
