Would like to now how to attach an .ico icon to a .exe file without the doing the cheap shortcut trick. Is there any app that do that easily or is there a line of code i have to add? I use C code and C++, is it different for each one?

Angel, there is no such thing as icons as far as C/C++ is concerned, hence there is no standard for it in C/C++. This is a programming language that crosses just about all hardware platforms and operating systems, many of which don''t even use icons. Understand?

Now on the Windows platform you can include a .ico file as a resource, like Aftermath said. Other operating systems and development environments have different ways of doing it.
