a good thing with these drivers is they have the option of letting my gf2mx emulate a nv30 (though very very slowly)

the bollux from the site

NV30 OpenGL Driver Essentials
1. Most compliant "
Complete OpenGL 1.4 support "
And more ARB extensions than anyone else "
Unmatched driver quality
2. Backward compatible with previous GeForce generations and OpenGL extensions "
Your existing OpenGL code just works
3. Most advanced 3D rendering functionality "
Everything NV30 does exposed "
Surpasses DirectX 9 "
And surpasses every competitor s hardware
4. Fastest hardware, fastest API

hey d3d9 aint every out and its been surpassed!

Does anyone have these running? I got the installer, but my current setup (the latest Det. drivers (30.82 I think)) works pretty well. Is it worth the update in terms of performance?

I downloaded them two days ago. I have only benchemarked my current programming project, which is a Quadtree/Rottger Terrain Renderer. I got an increase of around 10fps on it - using my AthlonXP 2000+, Geforce2 Ultra, WinXP Pro system.

rundll32 error in Config menu.. anyone know how to fix that?

But it''s got some NICE extensions in NV30 emulation mode

How do you enable this NV30 emulation mode?

Death of one is a tragedy, death of a million is just a statistic.
If at first you don't succeed, redefine success.
Uhhh I have Windows ME but I don''t see the drivers for that OS... only XP/2000. Will it come? Or is it already there but am I blind? :S

there is a small (57kb) program u can download from nvidia, which shows a dialog with a couple of checkboxes (one is enable emulate mode)

in time prolly but i think this is aimed at developers mainly + developers would never subject themselves to developingwith winME (i used win98 for 2 years + that was bad enuf )
