LPDIRECTINPUT8? Not...

Hi I just tried to implement Direct Input into my app, and stumbled at the very first hurdle when trying to declare an instance of the LPDIRECTINPUT8 class, but according to the compiler this interface couldn;t be found. Odd, i thought, when I had used it before, and that all the documentation I have use this interface. Yet I changed it to LPDIRECTINPUT, and this compiled fine. I am just wondering whether this is an older, perhaps obsolete version I am using, or what. And why couldn''t LPDIRECTINPUT8 be found at all. And yes, I have included all the relevant header files and libs. Any ideas? Ta

go to project settings, directories, and add the dx include/lib dirs on top of the list.

Yeah, I just realised that VC++ had a Dinput.h aswell, and by reordering the directories I got there in the end.

DOH!!
