I downloaded and installed SDL for Linux. However, when I went to compile the test programs, the opengl test demos (specifically testgl) wouldn't compile. I got an error about grBufferSwap not being defined. I'm guessing this means that I don't have my OpenGL development libraries properly installed. Anyone know where I could find them? Also, I intalled Mesa, and all the demos for it seem to be working fine. Could this then be an issue of needing some symbolic links? [edited by - Cloral on August 31, 2002 12:23:56 AM]

For SDL one should use `sdl-config --cflags --libs` (those are backquotes).

I''m compiling the provided demos via the supplied Makefile. This means I''m not telling it how to link it up. And all the non-OpenGL related demos compiled and run perfectly fine.
