Does anyone know of any good places to get started on driving sims?
Any info on freeware open source engines anyone might have would be good too!

There''s a couple of racing car games at clanlib.org - not a great simulation though. I did find this really indepth car simulation webpage on a uni website, sorry I cant tell you the address, but you should be able to find something on a search engine.
