Hi guys. I'm a newbie on MFC, so bear with me please. I'm making a simple application with MFC and today I triyed to add new items to the menu (on the Resource editor). I don't know what happens, but when I compile and run the application, the menu items that I've added, appear grayed and disabled. (pst: I didn't marked the options 'Grayed' and 'Inactive' in the Property of the item, so, they should appear in a normal way, but they don't). Help me ! Thank you. They''ll appear greyed out until you add a message handler for those menu items. Once that''s done, they''ll be available.

To add a message handler, press Ctrl+W to bring up the ClassWizard. The IDs will be listed on the left. To add a handler, double-click on COMMAND on the right side.

The handler will be added to the currently selected class, so for general menu items, you''ll want to add it to your CWinApp-derived class or CMainFrame.
