Hi!!! I''v got problem. Gnome2 doesn''t start any more. My monitor *kliks* two times and it returns to login screen. But KDE starts normally. It''s few weeks I last time used this computer and I don''t remember doing any setup changesin Linux (Debian). Where can I find error log history or something to help this? Thanks.

That''s because it''s not installed!
Damn, who removed it? I use dselect and it must have removed while I installed something else.
Now there are conflicts with gnome2 and gnome-games and gnome-utils (gnome-games version too old!!)

Does anyone have lines to sources.list t get gnome2 working in debian?
Can''t you just use apt?

Ummmm, I think I use apt.
apt-get install gnome2 .... and so on. OR I use dselect that uses apt, no difference.

But to get gnome2 I need to add line to /etc/apt/sources.list for apt to know where to get gnome2 because it is not in ''testing'' or ''unstable'' packages yet.
It wroks now
