I don''t know if this is the place to ask, but I''m wondering how I can get higher resolution on my graphics card. I''m running win 2000, and I have a GeForce 4 440 MX. I have a 20 inch monitor, and it claims to be able to handle resolutions up to 1600X1200. However, when I go to properties, I can only get to 1280X1024. The interesting thing is if I can get an error with the resolution, like if I have a program that changes the resolution and crashes, sometimes I can up my resolution higher than 1280X1024. I''ve tried lowering my refresh frequency to 60 hz, but that still doesn''t effect the max resolution. When I say max resolution, I mean the far value on the bar only goes to the value I''ve stated above, but sometimes (like when I get those programs that kick me out), I can get higher resolutions. Anyone have any ideas on how to make it so the higher resolutions are always available? --Vic--
