Really weird D3D Debug Error

Hey. Im working on a windowed app using 5 different viewports for rendering. Suddenly the box started locking up without any apparent reason. So i installed the debug-runtimes, and found that i sometime got the error: Unable to get client during presentation. I''ve never come across this before, and i suspect this is what causes the app to crash. Any suggestions on what to do about it? Thx, Jr -- MFC is sorta like the swedish police... It''''s full of crap, and nothing can communicate with anything else.

Doh!
I worked it out, turns out I''m destroying my rendertarget before i release the device.
Never done that before, which is why i''d never seen the error before
