GDI+, OpenGL, DirectX and .NET? What's the dealio?

So GDI+ doesn''t support HDCs anymore (at least through vb.NET). The other .NET languages require COM/NET wrappers around opengl32.dll. I have not found ANY source of DirectX working with .NET. What''s the deal? Is Microsoft going to release DX9 with better integration into the .NET platform? Should I even waste my time writing a wrapper to openGL? Yes I already have found CsGL but I don''t want to bother using it if openGL support is being dropped by MS. Thoughts? -fs

The dealio is, don''t crosspost, or the moderators will claw out your eyeballs with their razor-sharp talons.

Don''t listen to me. I''ve had too much coffee.
