i''m asking this out of interest on how people set up their loops for linear searching. Obviously with language differences I can''t list the code, but everyone has constructed at least one linear search in their lifetime. So, how do you do it? Most people I know use a while loop, some use for loops, some use do loops, etcetc.

int i;
for(i=0;i<n_elems;++i)
if(arr[i]==searched_value)
break;

// At this point, i is n_elems if the value was not found
