get rid of run-time linked dlls

I know there is a way, I just cant seem to find out how in all the articles Ive read -- how do you remove code from the RAM after you don''t need it linked in there?

A dll stays loaded in RAM as long as there is an outstanding reference to it. Head over to sysinternals.com and grab a copy of "Process Explorer" and take a look at all the dlls currently loaded on your machine.
