game loop

what order do you do things in a game loop for eg do you check for input first or what. you mightn''t be able to answer but what sort of stuff can you do to make code easy to understand and follow.

Usually you check for input/changes (collisions, etc.) in the world first, then you do the sound/video-stuff, followed by things like submitting data over a network (e.g., with MP-games).

I would submit the data over the network before doing sound/video. Latency is a huge problem in MP games, so you should send your data ASAP.
